We offer door-to-door service (all shipping costs included). Not included: customs fees or tax, which must be paid by the consignee. -
Delivery time for “non-document” services can be greater than that for documents through Customs facilities at some destinations. If government taxes are charged, these costs will be the responsibility of the consignee. -
We can pick up your consignments from Monday to Friday or on call, depending on your needs. -
All “non-document” shipping must be accompanied by a customs declaration, commercial invoice or pro-forma invoice for demonstration of value for Customs authorities. -
Delivery times are estimated; they can vary from country to country, destination city or the type of merchandise being shipped. -
In some countries/destinations cassettes, videos, credit cards, negatives and checkbooks are subject to taxation. -
Copa Courier handles documents, merchandise and commercial samples up to 30 kilograms; customers who wish to transport additional kilos beyond the established limits can pay an additional cost per kilo. Customs procedures are the responsibility of the sender or the customs agent. -
Weight charges are established according to the real weight or to the volumetric weight, whichever is larger. To calculate the volumetric weight, utilize the formula: Length x Width x Height (cm) = 6000 KILOS -
Rates are expressed in United States currency and are subject to change. -

If your package is delayed, incomplete, damaged, opened or in bad condition, the following is required for presenting a formal complaint: - Formal complaint letter stating the total amount being claimed, directed to the Claims Department at Copa Courier. - Attach a copy of the waybill and a copy of the purchase invoice (in the case of objects). The above-named documentation is required for initiating claims procedures and researching your case. Types of Claims: The Warsaw Convention applies to Copa Airlines’ shipping. Copa Airlines’ liability is limited to damages, losses or delays. (more) · Late delivery claim: Made when the courier does not comply with the time of transit agreed upon with the customer, whether 24 hrs., 48 hrs. or 72 hrs. Our maximum liability limit for delays is reimbursement of the freight charge. · Claim for loss: Shipment loss is declared when, after an exhaustive search, the shipment cannot be located. The customer must present his claim within 120 days after the date of expediting the waybill. In the case of an uninsured shipment, the customer will be reimbursed US $9.07 per pound. · Claim for pilfering, theft or missing contents: We will assume responsibility for this type of claim when the difference in weight can be proven. · Damage Claim: The customer must present the claim immediately after the discovery of the damage, no later than 14 days after the receipt of the goods. In case of an uninsured shipment, the customer will be reimbursed US $9.07 per pound. | | Additional Services | | Our standard service also includes added value: more) Special Customs Services ( · Shipments that require a service such as certificate of departure, temporary export authorization, etc., will take from 24 to 48 additional working hours above the normal transit time. Valor Declarado para Transporte (more) · Declared value of freight: Copa Courier’s responsibility is limited to the payment of US $9.07 per pound according to the Warsaw Agreement. Unless the shipper declares an additional freight value, it can be equal to, but not more than, the declared Customs value. This service enables you to insure your shipment up to a maximum sum of US $ 650.00. The minimum fee is US $5.00, to insure your shipment for US $ 100.00. For greater insurance protection, the customer may pay US $0.50 cents for each US $50.00 of the declared value.
